Start a table and its light switches on; close the bill and it goes off. Move a session and the lamp moves with it.
Open the shift with a float, count the cash at close and hand it to the next cashier, the bank or the owner. The next cashier counts the drawer at sign-in; a difference is recorded and everyone involved is told. The owner always sees who holds the cash — per person, with the deposit slip attached.
